I recently had the pleasure of joining Anthony Chen on Microsoft Reactor’s AI Agent Vlog to talk about one of my favorite topics, how AI agents are reshaping business operations and the workplace. It was a fun, fast-paced conversation that touched on everything from billion-dollar construction projects to my Minecraft misadventures.
The Power of AI Agents in the Real World
At Digital Meld, we help organizations harness AI and automation to reduce friction, boost efficiency, and make smarter decisions. Our focus on the construction and engineering industries has led to exciting innovations, especially when it comes to “mega projects” that involve mountains of data and time-consuming manual processes.
On the vlog, I shared how AI agents are now handling hundreds of timesheets, invoices, and repetitive data entry tasks that used to eat up a client’s entire week. With automation in place, that same client now reviews for accuracy in minutes, freeing her up to focus on the work that truly matters.
What’s Next for AI in Business?
I believe AI isn’t here to replace us, it’s here to amplify us. Whether you’re a project coordinator juggling priorities or a founder launching your next venture, AI agents can act as your behind-the-scenes partner, analyzing your calendar, surfacing key tasks, and helping you make room for high-impact work.
When asked what kind of AI agent I’d build for myself? Easy. A Chief AI Project Officer. Someone (or something) that could help me organize my startup, non-profit efforts, and personal life, building plans, managing stakeholders, and identifying gaps across it all.
Yes, We Talked Minecraft Too
In case you were wondering: yes, we also talked about Minecraft, my love of Star Wars and Interstellar, and the tragic day I lost my prized pickaxe in a cavern (RIP). Because even when you’re building the future of AI, it’s still fun to geek out a little.
Let’s Keep the Conversation Going
This episode was a great reminder that AI doesn’t need to feel distant or academic. It’s happening now, and it’s already making a difference in how we live and work.
I’m grateful to the Microsoft Reactor team and Anthony for spotlighting founders and innovators who are helping shape the future of AI.
