BusinessMeld Application Terms.

Authorized internal use

Access is limited to current Digital Meld team members and service administrators who have been granted an account for a documented business purpose. Credentials and sessions are personal and may not be shared. Users may not attempt to bypass role, tenant, company, environment, retention, audit, or source boundaries. Digital Meld may review and revoke access when responsibilities change or access is no longer required.

Source-system authority

BusinessMeld presents bounded projections and evidence from connected systems. QuickBooks remains the accounting authority. DealMeld remains the relationship and CRM authority. Microsoft and other connected services remain authoritative for the records they own. BusinessMeld may qualify, delay, or withhold a conclusion when source evidence is missing, stale, restricted, failed, deleted, conflicted, or otherwise unavailable. A displayed projection does not amend the authoritative source record.

Read-only QuickBooks access

BusinessMeld uses authorized QuickBooks Online access only to read bounded accounting data and maintain internal projections, reconciliation evidence, source health, and decision context. BusinessMeld does not create, edit, delete, approve, pay, or otherwise transact on QuickBooks records. Accounting work and corrections must be performed by an authorized user in QuickBooks. Disconnecting BusinessMeld ends newer reads but does not delete or change accounting records in QuickBooks.

Human decision authority

BusinessMeld may organize evidence, route work, prepare drafts, and record audit history. Only an accountable Digital Meld team member may approve consequential decisions, make commitments, contact people, transact, publish, or change an authoritative source record. A connector receipt, automated attempt, human action, and later source outcome are separate events and must not be treated as the same proof.

AI-assisted work

AI-assisted features may prepare internal research summaries, draft proposals, or suggested next steps. They do not have authority to approve decisions or act outside the bounded route shown to the user. Users must review the underlying evidence, limitations, freshness, and owner before relying on a draft. QuickBooks synchronization is a read-only integration path and is not used to train a generative model.

Data handling and security

Users must handle BusinessMeld information according to Digital Meld access, confidentiality, retention, security, and incident-response requirements. Do not export, copy, disclose, or repurpose source evidence beyond an authorized business need. Do not place credentials, secrets, payment authorization, or unnecessary regulated data in Decision Items, proposals, research, notes, or support messages. Report suspected unauthorized access, disclosure, or integrity loss promptly.

The Privacy and Data Retention notice describes Digital Meld's public website data practices. Connected services also apply their own terms and privacy notices to the records they host.

Availability and acceptable reliance

BusinessMeld is provided for internal operational support and may be changed, suspended, or unavailable. Projections, summaries, and automated output may be incomplete or delayed. Users must confirm material facts in the authoritative source system before taking a consequential action. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the application is provided as is and as available without a promise of uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular decision.

Suspension and termination

Digital Meld may suspend or terminate access for security, policy, legal, employment, role, licensing, maintenance, or source-authorization reasons. When access ends, the user must stop using the application and return or delete exported information as directed. Source-system records, audit history, and retained business records remain governed by the systems and policies that own them.

Governing law

Subject to mandatory law that applies, these Terms are governed by Texas law without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from application use must be brought in the state or federal courts serving Harris County, Texas. These Terms do not replace a signed employment, contractor, service, confidentiality, data-processing, or other agreement.

Changes to these Terms

Digital Meld may update these Terms as the application, connected services, operating controls, or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the version that applies to later use. A material change does not retroactively amend a separately signed agreement.
