1993
Forming a bond
Co-founders Brad Groux and Tyler Yates, who first crossed paths as freshmen in high school, quickly forged a strong friendship. Together, they spent three years in drafting class, where their collaboration led them to victory in various competitions. Their winning projects included the design and construction of wooden bridges, cardboard chairs, and cardboard boats, among others.

1999
The first pivot
Brad and Tyler embarked on their college education and first professional roles, fueled by their passion for design and engineering. However, an unexpected twist in the form of a computer coding bug altered their paths forever. Tasked with updating computers for the Y2K bug as financially strapped college students, they quickly discovered an affinity for the technology sector, recognizing it as their true calling.

An idea is born
Brad launched "Digital Meld" as a technology blog and community. The name, Digital Meld, is a take on the long-used phrase by Bill Gates, Digital Convergence. As Brad said in 2008, "The idea of convergence is simple; you take your everyday gadgets and gizmos and make them work together… full integration in every sense of the word."

2018
Teaming up again
Brad and Tyler join forces once again at JMT, delivering technology and program management solutions for TxDOT's 35-billion-dollar, multi-decade Mobility 35 project. Utilizing the Microsoft Cloud, the Power Platform and Microsoft 365 they are able to transform a struggling program management operation through automation, process improvement, and reporting.

Striking out on our own
In the late summer of 2023, Brad had the idea to strike it out on his own. Along the way he reached out to Tyler, and Robert Groux, his nephew, who joined him on his journey. Digital Meld, Inc. was officially incorporated on November 3rd, 2023, with the of building B2B software and services, but a curveball was on the horizon.

Things get real
In the early months of 2024, Tyler and Brad were approached by an ally from their program management days who had a customer who needed their help with a 1.8-billion-dollar construction and engineering project. Overnight, Digital Meld's refocus on building software and solutions for program management took hold.
