Robert brings over 15 years of experience in managing infrastructure projects, spanning from small business setups to large enterprise systems. Throughout his career, he has consulted with numerous companies, guiding them through complex cloud migrations, providing expert assistance in critical, fire-fighting troubleshooting scenarios, and helping to automate infrastructure operational needs. His strategic insights and hands-on approach have been instrumental in helping businesses optimize their technological frameworks and achieve operational excellence.
“In the world of IT, I play both architect and firefighter—designing structures while dousing flames. It’s a job that keeps me on my toes, making every day excitingly unpredictable.”
Before founding Digital Meld in 2023, Robert spent two years managing infrastructure at Hi-Crush Inc., focusing on cutting costs, monitoring core business applications, implementing automated recovery, enhancing cybersecurity, and migrating services to the cloud. During his tenure, he managed numerous infrastructure processes, including the implementation of Intune Autopilot, a full cybersecurity suite refresh, and successfully completed a carve-out acquisition which required a full infrastructure overhaul in under four weeks.
Prior to his role at Hi-Crush, Robert spent three years at Houston Methodist Hospital, one of the world’s top hospitals. There, he supported seven remote data centers, played a key role in planning, testing, and deploying disaster recovery solutions, and managed nearly 5,000 VMs across 12 clusters, ensuring robust and reliable IT operations.
He also dedicated seven years to a small startup, Cloud Hosting Provider “GearHost”, which hosted core infrastructure applications for over 100,000 customers, including major corporations such as Coca-Cola and Home Depot. At GearHost, Robert was pivotal in streamlining monitoring, automation, and fully configured backup solutions, further proving his capability to enhance system reliability and efficiency in high-demand environments.
We’re ready and waiting to help you improve your business process and operations.
Thanks to our partnership with Digital Meld, we have greatly improved our operational efficiency, and gained valuable insights for optimizing our costs.”
